Disestablishment of accessUTS Pty Limited (RTO90811)
Due to a shift in priorities for the university, UTS has decided to disestablish the Registered Training Organisation, accessUTS Pty Ltd RTO90811, and to cease – by end of 2022 – all teaching of vocational education and corporate training courses.
This means no further teaching will be offered and no new learners will be enrolled in any courses provided by accessUTS.
accessUTS will apply to the relevant authorities for its accreditation as an RTO to be withdrawn.
We understand this has a direct impact on your learning and we are contacting you to support you through this transition, and advise you of your options and what steps you need to take.
Current Students - What do I need to do?
Please read carefully through these key points and take the appropriate action:
Outstanding assessments submission:
If your course is current (not superseded) and you have outstanding assessments, we would like to give you the opportunity to submit your assessment for marking. Please submit your assessment via the accessUTS email, stating "outstanding assessment" in the subject line by no later than 31 August 2022, and we will have it marked and issue applicable statements of attainment by no later than 30 November 2022.
Missing statements of attainment:
If you have successfully completed your module(s) and have misplaced your statement of attainment, we can provide you with a copy for your records, so you can continue your education at another registered training organisation. Please email accessUTS, stating "missing statement of attainment" in the subject line, by 31 August 2022, with module detail in body of email. Please note once accessUTS is de-registered, all training records will be held by ASQA and UTS will no longer be able to issue your statement of attainment.
Missing certificates:
If you have successfully completed your course and misplaced your certificate, we can provide you with a copy for your records. Please contact accessUTS, stating "missing certificate", in the subject line by 30 September 2022. Please note, once accessUTS is deregistered, all training records will be held by ASQA, and UTS will no longer be able to issue copies of your certificate.
Refund of fees:
If you have paid upfront for modules that you have not commenced, and would like to request a refund - Please email accessUTS with your details and reference "refund" in the subject line. In the email body, please state the course and amount for which you are seeking a refund. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
Future study options:
If you would like to continue your vocational education at another institution, we can provide you with a list options. Please email us at accessUTStraining@uts.edu.au
Future Record of Course Completion:
Please note, once accessUTS is deregistered the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) will hold all training records. Once accessUTS has been deregistered you can contact ASQA for records of your training.
