FAQ's

How much does the laundry cost?

The washing machines take 4 x $1 coins.  The dryers also take $1 coins.

Do you have BBQ facilities within the Park?

Yes we have five undercover BBQ areas with nine BBQ plates, two on the lakefront and three situated amongst the cabins.

Do you have disabled facilities?

We have dedicated disabled bathroom facilities. These include a shower, bath and toilet with hand rails.  We also have two Bungalows that are wheelchair accessible.

Where are the closest shops?

We sell ice, soft drinks and ice creams and have Swap n’ Go gas.  There are corner stores near the entrance to the Park, including IGA, Bean At Burrill Cafe', a newsagent and hairdresser. We are approximately a five minutes drive to Ulladulla.  They have Coles, Aldi, Woolworths, IGA, Harris Scarffe, Target and specialty stores and local attractions, including the Dunn Lewis Centre, Funland Ulladulla and the Ulladulla Cinema.

Do you allow pets in the Park?

Dogs are welcome on application at the Manager’s discretion.  Please contact us directly on (02) 44551621 or reception@bungalow-park.com.au to discuss your pet and travel needs prior to your arrival. 

Date Restrictions Apply: Dogs are not permitted on long weekends, school holidays and special events. 

Park Conditions for Pets: Dogs are welcome on selected sites, excluding school holidays, long weekends and special events. Please contact us directly if you are travelling with other pets.  No cats. 

Public Transport?

Bus services link Ulladulla to Sydney, Nowra, Eden and Canberra. All of our local Clubs provide courtesy busses for visitors. Local busses operate from the front of our park. Check local time tables. Ask reception for a copy of the local timetables.

Where are the closest restaurants?

The best Restaurants nearby are in Ulladulla (approx. five minute drive) and Milton (approx.. 15 minute drive). A variety of cuisines are available: Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Seafood and Mexican, not to mention the unique Ulladulla cafes.

The local clubs all offer great value meals and provide a courtesy bus service all year round. All three restaurants listed below have their own courtesy bus. Please note that you will need to book the bus and the restaurant.  Pick up from the park is just outside reception area.

Where is the closest boat ramp?

We have our own private boat ramp for guests use only.   A fishing license is required to fish in NSW if you are 18 years of age or older.  You may purchase one from most fishing stores and service stations.

What hire equipment do you have?

The Park's Reception hire canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and SUP boards - $22.00 per hour.

We have an 8 Hole Mini Golf Course and hire Clubs, Balls and Score Card for $10.00 per adult and $7.00 per child.

BIG4 10% Discount applies to BIG4 Members. 

Do you have a Camp Kitchen. What does it include?

Our Camp Kitchen has a full sized fridge, sinks, microwaves, hotplates and BBQ plate, toasters, kettles, various pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

A second Camp Kitchen located near the annual campsites is also available for use; however, does not contain all of the facilities that the primary kitchen does.

What is the parking policy?

The Park has a one car per booking policy; however, all Cabins are allocated two-car spaces.  Ensuite and powered sites have one space only. Your car needs to remain within the boundary of your powered or ensuite site at all times. Please discuss your requirements with reception at time of booking.

We have a security gate at the entrance of the park that restricts access to one car only. This ensures the safety of all guests, as well as limiting car numbers to reduce traffic within the park.  Extra parking is available just outside the security gate on the park grounds.  All watercraft owners are asked to please park their watercraft (jet skis included) on the designated boat parking area. 

Do you allow open fires within the Park?

No, unfortunately open fires are not permitted in the Park (this includes braziers etc.), four fire pits are available for use during winter months.

What is Check In and Check Out time?

Check in time is 2.00 pm.  Check out time is 10.00 am for all sites and accommodation. Remember that the Park operates on NSW Day Light Saving Time.  Early arrivals and late checkouts may be available but you must check with reception on the day prior to your arrival.

Where is the closest beach?

Dolphin Point beach (unpatrolled) is approx one kilometre from the Park, a short 5 minute walk under the New Burrill lake Bridge and contains a fantastic estuary for swimming.  

Mollymook beach is a 10 minute drive from the Park and is patrolled during school holidays and weekends. These beaches offer some of the coast’s best surfing, so don’t forget your surf board!

Where is BIG4 Bungalow Park located?

We are in Burrill Lake on the NSW South Coast, just 5 km south of Ulladulla and 45 minutes north of Batemans Bay. We are approximately 3 hrs drive south of Sydney and 2.5 hours east of Canberra.

Are the Cabins Air Conditioned/ Heated?

All of our cabins have reverse cycle air conditioning.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Bookings during the Christmas school holidays may be cancelled but all monies paid are NON refundable.  At other times of the year 30 days notice is required.  In the event of Cancellations with less than 30 days notice no refunds are available.

Do you have Internet facilities within the Park?

Free Wifi is available to all guests staying in the Park. 

How much are extra adults and kids?

All our standard rates listed are for 1-2 people.  Any additional guests are charged per night.  Children under four years stay free in cabins.

Cabins - Extras $20 per person per night.

On Sites - Extras $15 per person per night.

Do the Cabins have TV’s and DVD players?

ALL our cabins have digital flat screen TV’s, DVD players and Foxtel with the exception of the Cottages which do not have Foxtel.

Can the kids ride bikes and scooters in the Park?

Kids can ride bikes and scooters as long as they keep safe, wear their helmets at all times and obey the Park rules.   NO helmet NO ride.

Please Note: NO SKATEBOARDS ARE PERMITTED.

How can I pay the balance of my booking?

There are plenty of payment options available to you. 

Call us and pay by Credit card over the phone (Mastercard or Visa only, sorry we do not accept Diners or American Express). You can send us a cheque made out to ‘BIG4 Bungalow Park on Burrill Lake’, or you can pay by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into our account.  Please see your confirmation letter for our bank account details or call us.  Please state your surname and reservation number in the reference.

Please Note: cheques and EFT need to be received more than one week prior to arrival.

Balances are due 30 days prior to arrival for all bookings during the Christmas school holidays.  For off peak bookings, your balance can be paid on arrival. Payment plans can be arranged if you would like to pay a small amount every month for example. Balances for Christmas School Holidays, Easter and Public Holiday Long Weekend are payable in full by the 31 October.
